Job Summary We are looking for a talented Mechanical & Hydraulics Systems Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years of industry experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and integration of mechanical and hydraulic systems across various offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is required. Candidates must have a strong understanding of oil and gas project execution, from concept through to commissioning. Proficiency in French is considered an advantage, as many of our clients operate in French-speaking regions. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems for offshore platforms, subsea installations, FPSOs, and topside facilities.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD and similar drafting software.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses using tools such as SolidWorksANSYSHydraCADFluidSIM, or EPLAN Fluid (depending on system needs).
  • Select components including pumps, actuators, valves, cylinders, and other hydraulic system elements based on project specifications and functional requirements.
  • Prepare system layouts, P&IDs, hydraulic schematics, and bill of materials (BoM).
  • Perform engineering calculations related to fluid flow, pressure drops, load distribution, power requirements, etc.
  • Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards such as API, ISO, ASME, DNV, and IEC.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation, structural, electrical, and process engineering disciplines to ensure system compatibility and functionality.
  • Support procurement, fabrication, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
